the National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting Sr. Ellen Francis agreed
to convene an EPF Iran ACTION/INTEREST Group! Rev. Richard Deats (past
Fellowship Magazine – FOR)
The interest group will:
(1) Keep informed about current events concerning Iran;
(2) Send out Alerts for ACTION;
(3) Disseminate information about Iran and the threat of war;
(4) Support delegations to Iran and sponsor Young Adults to go on delegations.
2. THANK YOU Janet Chisholm for 18 years service!
Janet
Chisholm has given wonderful service to the NEC as a member, treasurer,
vice chair and chair. During the October NEC meeting at the Convent of
the Order of St. Helena, Vails Gate, the NEC took the opportunity for
formally thank her for her exceptional service. Past Chair, Rev. David
Selzer and daughter Hanna made a surprise visit to Vails Gate to thank
Janet.

7. Christian WITNESS to END the IRAQ WAR!
Plan now to organize a candle light vigil the week of March 12-19th
calling for an end to the killing in Iraq – the 4th anniversary
of the WAR. Watch for info on Christian Witness to end the
WAR…Action notice and resources will be forthcoming. EPF has
joined with our Ecumenical sisters and brothers to organize this
Witness.
