The peace angel was inspired by Psalm 46, and a gift from sculptor and faithful EPF member, Will Kieffer. Will donated this peace angel in 1999 in celebration of EPF's 60th anniversay, and it has been a witness on the plaza of St. James Cathedral, Chicago ever since.
