In this email: Please take a few extra hours this month and next for Peace in Iraq.
This is it, one of those
times to take that extra step. We've all been working for for years to
end the war, even before it began, and it gets discouraging. Now, with
more and more folks knowing we need to bring our troops home, your
extra effort could make a huge difference.
We ask you to do three things in August and September:
1. This month, please Visit your Congressional Representative,
let them know what you think about the war in IRAQ. You can set up your
own meeting with three or four other Episcopalians or join others from
Declaration of Peace.

2. Please plan a prayer vigil for Peace in Iraq in your parish this September 16th, 21st or 23rd to help launch Christian Peace Witness for Iraq - www.epfnational.org
has plenty of resources. See the letter that was sent to your Bishop
and encourage your bishop to support this effort. Please plan to
personally join the Continuous Prayer Vigil also. Please let us know
your plans, write to epfnational@ameritech.net or the addresses above.
3. Become an active member of the EPF Iraq Action Group or ask another member of your EPF chapter
or
parish to join, just write to Hal or Madeleine above. Their next
